Please come out and support a local family in need of the community’s help! 50% of the proceeds from Wing Night will be donated to the Jozefick family. Ben is 38 years old and was born with a bicuspid aortic valve. In 1999, when he was 17, he had the Ross procedure done. This took his pulmonary valve, put it on his aortic valve, and replaced his pulmonary valve with a cadaver valve. Ben now has an aneurysm on his aortic root. Doctors are going to try to repair with the Davids procedure, which will also try to save the valve. If they are unable to save the valve, he will need a new valve as well. Ben is married to Kendra and they have a son named Joza, who will be 18 months in March. Kendra will have to be off work to care for Ben the first 4-6 weeks. Ben works 3rd shift and usually cares for Joza at home during the day, but will need to find alternative care until he is physically able to again. The surgery is at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio on Feb 13th. Please help Ben and his family with upcoming medical and travel expenses, as he’s expected to be out of work for up to 26 weeks.
