BEA Ag Class Works to Develop and Sell Dog TreatsBEA ag students have developed a creative way to raise money for ag programs at their school. Students in teacher Todd Biddle's veterinary science class have developed their own dog treats! The students plan to sell the treats, which have been approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, in order to fund agriculture programs at BEA High School. Students Drew Koleno and Zoey McHenry said the treats they made are made from peanut butter, pumpkin, flower, baking soda and eggs. The treats will be sold at the Fresh is Better Showcase in October and the annual Fall Craft and Gift Fair in November.
