On February 25, 2016, a record-setting 500 people attended the Science Expo at the Bald Eagle High School. The annual event has always had decent attendance, but this year Bald Eagle teamed up with the Penn State Eberly College of Science to hold the event that promotes STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities.

The focus of this year’s event was to promote all aspects of science - chemical, earth, life and the physical sciences.

Students who have been working on projects had the opportunity to showcase their work. For younger kids, the hope is that events like this will spark an interest in STEM activities.
